There is so much I could say about Brooke and John, but not enough space. When I met Brooke for the first time, I immediately felt a connection with her and knew that she was my perfect client. Luckily, Brooke felt the same way and decided to book. She already had her venue picked out, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, and also had her date, September 20.
We worked together over the next year to plan her wedding with all the things she was looking for – we hired a band, an amazing florist, a great photographer, an awesome videographer, hair and makeup among many other things. We chose to accent the space with draping and market lights. And our fabulous florist had the “LOVE” letters for the fireplace that was the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom.
When September 20 rolled around, we were thrilled with the weather and the scenery. The trees were at the height of color and day was pretty warm. Brooke and John shared their vows outside in the presence of their friends and family. After the ceremony, guests were invited to the deck to enjoy cocktails and appetizers while the bride and groom took pictures. Guests were welcomed into the Broad Axe Barn to find their tables that was dress with a lace overlay and simple, elegant centerpieces. The draping and lighting in the barn elevated the feeling of the space into a soft, romantic atmosphere. After having a 3 course dinner, guests enjoyed a slice of delicious wedding cake adorned with icing piped like the lace from Brooke’s gown. Then guests danced the night away with the band playing a mix of rock and county.
